The NORLYS Sol 4046GR is a graphite-grey LED outdoor ceiling light for a sheltered exterior ceiling. Its square body measures 20 × 20 cm and is only 11 cm high, keeping the entrance zone visually quiet rather than competing with the architecture. The housing is aluminium and the satin diffuser is glass. Its pared-back shape suits contemporary façades, covered terraces and gazebos.

The integrated LED has a luminaire power rating of 19.1 W and produces neutral 4000 K light. Luminaire output is 1890 lm and colour rendering is CRI 80. NORLYS specifies dimming capability, a 0.96 power factor and SDCM3 colour consistency. These figures are useful when selecting compatible control equipment and planning the electrical installation.

Installation and use

This model is rated IP65 and IK06. It is fixed through two Ø5 mm holes spaced 100 mm apart, following the supplied installation instructions. Supply is 220–240 V; terminals accept conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm², while loop-through connection of the fitting is possible up to 1.5 mm². The manufacturer specifies an ambient operating range of −20 to +45°C.
