Norlys Vasa 453GR outdoor wall light, graphite RAL 7016, LED 12.8 W 4000 K, downlight, DALI2

Norlys Vasa 453GR is an outdoor wall light with a broad, curved front and a graphite RAL 7016 finish. Its powder-coated cast-aluminium body screens the diffuser underneath, leaving a simple, uninterrupted outline on the wall. This particular version contains an LED module producing neutral-white light at 4000 K.

Downward illumination rather than an up-and-down effect

The 453GR distributes diffuse light into the lower hemisphere. It is not the Vasa version that shines both upwards and downwards. Its distribution suits illumination of wall surfaces and the area alongside a facade, including an entrance, terrace or balcony. Position it in relation to the area beneath it that needs lighting, rather than expecting the narrow, adjustable beam of a spotlight.

The complete luminaire delivers 978 lm and consumes 12.8 W. The separate figure of 1954 lm belongs to the LED module itself, before the luminaire's optical system; it should not be used as the finished wall light's output. The 4000 K colour temperature gives a neutral-white appearance. DALI2/TD control allows integration into an appropriately designed lighting-control installation, so the control arrangement is a consideration when planning the wiring.

A restrained shape with defined dimensions

The dimensions are 31 × 12.5 × 15.5 cm. Compare these with the available wall area and the movement of any nearby door before choosing the mounting position. The curved, undecorated front supports modern and minimalist architectural schemes. GR identifies the graphite variant and should not be confused with the black finish available elsewhere in the family.

The clear, textured polycarbonate diffuser is UV-stabilised. The luminaire is rated IP65 for ingress protection and IK08 for mechanical impact resistance. Those ratings do not remove the need to follow the installation instructions and seal the cable entry correctly.

Installation and professional servicing

This is a 220–240 V, Class I luminaire. Installation and electrical connection must be carried out by a suitably qualified person. The instructions specify a round-sheathed cable 7–10.5 mm in diameter; the correct passage through the gasket is part of maintaining the enclosure's protection.

The LED module and electronic driver are included in the luminaire, rather than requiring a separately selected E27 bulb. Norlys specifies professional servicing for replacement of either the LED light source or the control gear.
