The Lillehammer 5027BL is a box-shaped outdoor wall light in powder-coated cast aluminium, finished in black (RAL 9005), with optical safety glass windows in its top and bottom faces. It lights in both directions, but differently on each side: a narrow 4° beam on one side and a wide 60° beam on the other.
How it lights and what it is for
The body can be mounted either way up, so the narrow beam can go up and the wide one down, or the reverse. The narrow beam draws a thin, sharp line of light on the facade, while the wide beam lights the wall and the ground beside it. Two integrated LED modules give 4000 K light, a neutral white, with CRI 80.
The luminaire draws 7.3 W and delivers 133 lm. That is little compared with an entrance light, so the Lillehammer 5027 is above all decorative lighting for walls and facades, which is what the manufacturer intends it for.
Dimming and service
The Philips Xitanium driver is built in and allows phase dimming, but only trailing edge (TE), so a dimmer of that type is needed. The LED modules and the driver are replaced by a professional service (repair kit ZS5027), not by the user. The manufacturer rates the modules at more than 102,000 h (L80) and the driver at 50,000 h.
Dimensions and installation
The wall light is 18.5 cm high and 8 cm wide, and projects 11 cm from the wall. It is fixed with two screws through ø5 mm holes on a 45 × 130 mm pattern. The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm² and allow the next luminaire to be looped through with up to 3 × 1.5 mm², and the gland accepts a round cable 7–10.5 mm in diameter, so a row of these on a facade runs from one supply line. The luminaire is protection class I and needs a protective earth, is sealed to IP65 (dust-tight, protected against water jets) and has IK08 impact resistance.
It is intended for facades, balconies and the walls of hotels, restaurants and houses with gardens. The plain, square-edged body without ornament gives it its modern character.
