Nowodvorski CAMELEON POLARIS 12270 gold lampshade 25 cm Promo Code 🚀- NOVO15 until the end of Oct 25

The Nowodvorski CAMELEON POLARIS shade, article 12270, is a gold sphere of metallised glass, not a finished lamp. The photograph shows a closed ball with a small opening at the top and no cable, canopy or bulb. The manufacturer lists this variant for indoor use.

25 cm across and 22.5 cm high

The catalogue card and dimension drawing give a width of 25 cm and a height of 22.5 cm. Over a table about 75–90 cm deep, the sphere stays one compact accent rather than a shade stretched along the top. The shade is only 22.5 cm tall; ceiling drop depends on the pendant cable chosen separately. In a passage, leave more than 25 cm of clear width, because the ball keeps that diameter at any hanging height.

What arrives, and what does not

The pack contains the shade, an instruction and a note about air bubbles. No light source is included. The shade has no lampholder and no supply of its own; the catalogue card leaves the supply field blank. The manual for articles 12267, 12268, 12270 and 12271 allows only Cameleon canopies and a CAMELEON CABLE PO/MO E27 suspension. The product page specifies one such cable and a 25 W limit for an LED source only. An E27 cable from outside that family does not meet the manufacturer's condition. Buy the canopy and the LED bulb separately. If the suspension you choose states a lower wattage limit, use that lower figure.

Gold metallised glass

The surface reflects the room like a gold ball, not like a matte textile shade. This record is gold 12270; compare that finish with the suspension and canopy, because Polaris also exists in other colours. Up to five air bubbles on the bowl come from blowing the glass and are not a defect. Net weight is 1.055 kg; gross weight with the carton is 1.42 kg. The single package measures 25 × 25 × 28 cm. The shade is made in Poland.

Where the sphere belongs

Use it as the decorative shade of an indoor pendant in a living room, over a dining table or in a bedroom, provided the ceiling and the passage can take 22.5 cm of shade plus the suspension you select. It is not a bathroom or outdoor fitting, and it does not replace task light over a worktop. The catalogue card calls the style modern: a plain gold-glass sphere.
