ACEVES is a 90 cm bollard light: a black aluminium tube that turns into a horizontal arm at the top. From the arm's end hangs an open cage shade — a cone 18 cm across, formed from vertical bars, in the same black finish.
Height, reach and how it is fixed down
At 90 cm the post stands roughly hip height on an adult, so the shade sits below eye level; its opening faces down and the light stays near the ground. Overall width is 34.5 cm: the arm carries the shade to one side, so the light falls beside the base, not on it.
The base is a round flange with fixing holes. The fitting is bolted to a hard surface: block paving, a concrete apron along the house, or a prepared foundation. There is no ground spike, so plan the position and cable entry first. It runs on 230 V mains.
How much light ACEVES gives
A single integrated LED module draws 6 W and delivers 279.54 lm. That is light for marking the line of a path, not for lighting a whole yard — an old 60 W bulb produced around 800 lm. Along a longer walk, several bollards at even intervals beat one.
The colour is 3000 K, a warm white with a slightly yellow cast, close to indoor lamps and ordinary facade lighting. The module comes with the fitting, so no bulb has to be bought; nor can the owner replace it. The luminaire is not dimmable. The shade has no glass and no opal diffuser — light leaves through the bottom and between the bars, laying a striped shadow on the surface below.
What it withstands outdoors
IP65 means a dust-tight housing protected against water jets from any direction. Rain, snow and a garden hose call for no precautions, and the fitting needs no shelter above it. Body and base are aluminium, which does not rust against damp soil.
Where the bollard belongs
The manufacturer intends ACEVES for outdoor and garden use: along a path, by a driveway, at the edge of a bed next to the terrace. The form is modern and modernist: a plain cylinder, a right-angled break in the arm, a cage instead of a closed body.
