Asker 1726WH is an outdoor wall light shaped as a white aluminium box that shines only downwards, through a textured polycarbonate diffuser set in its underside. The form is plain and modern — a smooth block with no ornament that reads as a single solid shape on the façade.
Size and installation
The light is 22.5 cm wide, 11 cm high and projects 8.5 cm from the wall — the space to allow next to the door, window or frame it will hang beside. It fixes to the wall through two ø4.5 mm holes spaced 180 × 60 mm. The terminals take conductors up to 2.5 mm², and several lights can be looped through with cable up to 1.5 mm². It is a protection class I luminaire, so it needs a protective earth connection, and installation to the manufacturer's manual is an electrician's job.
How much light it gives
The integrated LED module draws 3.9 W and the whole luminaire 5.4 W. The light delivers 429 lm at 3000 K, a warm white, with CRI 80. Because all the light goes downwards, it lights the wall below and the ground at the entrance without glaring into people's eyes. The light is dimmable, so the entrance can be dimmed instead of switched off.
The LED module is replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent — not swapped by the user like a bulb. Norlys states a module life of more than 70,000 hours.
Build and where it fits
The IP65 housing is dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction, and IK08 impact resistance protects it where it hangs low, within reach. The light suits a house façade or a garden, as well as hotels and restaurants, where a row of identical lights marks an entrance or a terrace.
