Bremen 637GA is a round Norlys outdoor wall light, 28 cm in diameter and 14 cm deep, with an opal diffuser crossed by two horizontal guard bars. The housing is hot-dip galvanised – a zinc coating in the natural silvery grey of the metal, for which the manufacturer gives no RAL number.
What light it gives
The diffuser of opal, UV-stabilised polycarbonate spreads the light, so the fitting lights the wall and the area around it evenly, with no visible LED point. At 8 W it gives 364 lm at 3000 K, a warm white – the amount needed at a front door, on a garage wall or along a path beside the house. ULOR is 15%, so part of the light also goes upwards.
The LED module is built in, so there is no lamp to buy; Norlys gives an L70 lifetime of over 59,000 h. The fitting can be phase-dimmed with both leading-edge and trailing-edge dimmers, so it works with most LED phase dimmers.
Installation and durability
The light is fixed through two ø4.2 mm holes at 155 × 40 mm spacing. The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm² and allow looping through to the next fitting with up to 3 × 1.5 mm², so several lights on one facade can run from a single supply; the gland takes round cable of ø7–10.5 mm. It is a protection class I fitting, so it needs an earth connection.
IP54 allows mounting outdoors without a canopy, and IK10 is the highest impact-resistance class, which matters by a garage entrance or in a public place. The Bremen series also offers the same light in black (637BL).
