A disciplined row of five pendants
Sigma Sopel 5, article 33615, is a black pendant fitting made for a long dining table, kitchen island or narrow worktop. Its slim rectangular ceiling bar arranges five narrow steel tubes at even intervals. The lacquered black finish keeps the composition crisp and architectural: it reads as a sequence of vertical lines rather than as one bulky shade, which is useful in a contemporary interior where the furniture and table should remain visible.
Each cylindrical shade is 50 cm high and only 2.5 cm in diameter. The photographed fitting shows a separate light opening at the base of every tube, creating five focused pools directed downward. That characteristic makes Sopel 5 a considered option where the illuminated surface matters, for example above place settings or a countertop, instead of relying on a single central glow.
Proportions and installation
The fitting is 60 cm wide, 5 cm deep and reaches a maximum drop of 80 cm. Its suspension can be adjusted, allowing the final height to be coordinated with the table and ceiling. Sigma specifies bracket mounting; the installation drawing shows the ceiling bar fixed at two points. Plan the feed position and clearance from cabinet fronts or a tabletop before installation.
