Sigma Sopel Lux 7 black and silver pendant light 40734
Sopel Lux 7 is built around seven exceptionally slim metal tubes, each suspended from its own black cable. A round black ceiling canopy brings the suspension points into one orderly composition, while the silver elements fall at different levels below it. In the product photographs, the vertical arrangement has the character of light icicles: it draws a sequence of fine lines through the room instead of placing a broad shade above the table. The black-and-silver finish gives the fitting a clear contemporary identity and lets the reflective metal remain a visible part of the design.
Sigma states a 25 × 25 cm ceiling footprint and a maximum height of 130 cm. Each of the seven tubes is 50 cm high with a 2.5 cm diameter, so the composition reads as tall and graphic rather than bulky. Painted steel forms the body, with nickel-plated steel used for the silver parts. The height is adjustable; before the bracket is finally fixed, the individual drops can be arranged into the intended levels.
Lamps and fitting details
The pendant uses seven replaceable G9 lamps, which are not included. Sigma specifies a maximum of 3 W LED for every light point. This leaves the choice of lamp colour and output to the buyer while retaining the stated limit for each source. The fitting is installed on a bracket, so its final position and the available ceiling height should be considered before installation.
- seven G9 light points, maximum 3 W LED each;
- painted steel and nickel-plated steel;
- maximum height 130 cm; canopy footprint 25 × 25 cm;
- adjustable suspension and bracket mounting;
- IP20 rating; 2-year warranty.
Sopel Lux 7 is especially effective above a dining table or island where the long vertical elements can remain visually open around their edges. Check the ceiling height and plan the separate cable levels before purchase.
