Plafon Sigma Andy 2 gold 33337

Sigma Andy 2 — two white globes on a gold-beige frame

Andy 2, product code 33337, combines rounded glass shades with the straight lines of a painted-steel structure. Its two white globes are deliberately offset rather than mirrored: one sits near the end of the horizontal arm, while the other is positioned lower beside the longer vertical section. A circular canopy, one broad crossbar and two drops of different lengths form an open geometric composition that remains distinctive when the fitting is switched off. The manufacturer calls the finish gold beige, a warm, subdued metallic colour rather than a highly reflective bright gold.

Size and lamp selection

• overall dimensions: 14 × 45 × 31 cm (length × width × height),
• two white glass shades, each measuring 14 cm,
• two replaceable G9 LED lamps; manufacturer’s maximum rating: 12 W,
• lamps are not supplied,
• 230 V connection and IP20 rating,
• net weight 1.1 kg, with ceiling installation on a mounting bracket.

Replaceable G9 lamps allow colour temperature and output to be chosen for the intended position. Using a matching pair will give the two white globes a consistent appearance. Buyers should check the stated wattage limit as well as the physical size of each lamp, since compact G9 products can vary in their proportions. The white glass screens the direct view of the light source, and the two separate points spread the visual emphasis along the fitting’s 45 cm width.

Where Andy 2 works well

The horizontal outline is suited to a small dining table, a seating area, a bedroom or hallway, or a defined section of a kitchen. Its 14 cm depth is useful where a fairly wide ceiling light should remain visually close to the ceiling rather than project deeply into the room. White globes, the muted metal finish and the right-angled framework complement modern interiors and restrained glamour schemes that already use light surfaces or subtle warm-metal details. The offset arrangement reads most clearly when the full width is not crowded by nearby tall furniture. Installation must be carried out with the electrical supply isolated and in accordance with the supplied instructions. The accompanying diagram shows a bracket screwed to the ceiling and the circular canopy secured over it.
