Sigma Andy 5 — five white globes in a black, three-dimensional frame

Andy 5, product code 33287, pairs a long black painted-steel structure with five white glass globes. Two shades sit beneath the left section of the horizontal bar and one finishes the line at the right. The other two are mounted lower around the vertical profiles near the centre. This is not a conventional single row: the changes in level and depth create a layered outline, while the intersections between the spheres and slender black bars shift as the fitting is viewed from different positions. Its graphic construction remains easy to read without relying on hanging cables.

Dimensions and choosing five lamps

• overall size: 14 × 82 × 28 cm (length × width × height),
• five white glass shades, with a stated shade dimension of 14 cm,
• five light points for replaceable G9 LED lamps,
• manufacturer’s stated maximum rating: 12 W,
• lamps are not supplied with the fitting,
• 230 V supply, IP20 rating and net weight of 2 kg.

Replaceable sources leave the choice of colour temperature and lumen output to the buyer. Using five matching bulbs will help every globe present a consistent colour when switched on. Check each lamp’s physical dimensions as well as its G9 cap and permitted power, because it must fit comfortably inside the glass shade. The manufacturer identifies this model as having split lighting. The intended use of that switching provision should be discussed with the electrician when the circuit and connection are planned.

Planning a position for Andy 5

The 82 cm width makes this ceiling light a practical visual marker for an elongated zone: a dining table, kitchen island, defined seating area or longer hallway. Its straight black members can echo dark window frames, cabinet handles or other linear details, while the white spheres soften the technical geometry. Allow for the full 28 cm height beneath a low ceiling and beside tall cupboard doors. The fitting uses a mounting bracket. The available installation drawing shows the bracket secured to the ceiling, the supply brought through the centre and the circular canopy placed over the fixing. Before any wiring is touched, isolate the circuit and follow Sigma’s installation directions.
