Sigma Sfera 70 – a gold volume with a black, gold-speckled underside
On the SL/32480, a diagonal opening interrupts the simplicity of the hemispherical form. The satin gold exterior reads as a calm surface close to the ceiling, while a densely gold-speckled black interior appears beneath it as a separate layer. The amount of this underside in view changes with the observer’s position. Consequently, the substantial fitting does not resemble a symmetrical bowl; its profile directs attention towards one particular side.
Seventy centimetres for defining a purposeful zone
The 70 cm diameter can mark a dining table, a low table within a seating group, or the axis of a larger room. Overall height is 45 cm, of which the shade accounts for 35 cm. Both dimensions and the 3.5 kg weight should be included in installation planning. The diagonal rim also needs an intended orientation, as this determines the viewpoint from which the black and gold-speckled interior will be displayed most clearly.
A replaceable lamp and control over the lighting character
One E27 socket is provided for an LED lamp rated at no more than 15 W. No light source is included, allowing its colour temperature, shape and distribution to be selected for the setting. Illumination also draws out the irregular pattern across the inner surface. The shade uses mineral composite, while the structural elements are made from painted steel.
