SABINAS is a round ceiling light 37 cm across that sits 4.6 cm below the ceiling once mounted. The body is aluminium in matte white, and light leaves through an acrylic disc in the centre and through a translucent ring running along the rim. The source is a built-in LED module.
How big it is and where it goes
The luminaire screws flat to the ceiling and takes 4.6 cm off the room height — there is no cable and no canopy, so it suits places where a pendant's drop would not fit.
The disc measures 37 cm in diameter. That is the figure to compare with the area it has to light and with the distance to the wall or to a sloped ceiling where you plan to mount it.
How much light it gives and of what kind
The built-in LED module draws 30 W and delivers 2223 lm. An old 60 W bulb gave around 800 lm, so SABINAS replaces close to three of them and is enough as the main light in a smaller room.
The colour temperature is 3000 K, warm white — clearly warmer than daylight, but without the yellow cast of 2700 K. The luminaire cannot be dimmed, so the brightness is fixed and there is no point wiring it to a dimmer.
The light source is included and integrated: there is no socket and no bulb to change. Nothing has to be bought before installation, but once the module is spent the whole luminaire is replaced.
Construction and versions
The body is aluminium and the diffuser acrylic. The form is modern and modernist: a flat disc with no ornament, matte white throughout, and the translucent ring at the edge as the only visible detail.
SABINAS comes in two colour versions with the same dimensions and the same light figures — white as LE42843 and black as LE42844.
