The dark green (Pine Green) small Poppy by Alora Mood needs no cable while it is lit — a built-in battery powers it, charged through the USB port in the base. Its shape recalls a mushroom: a glossy egg-shaped base, a brass neck and a flat shade. It is supplied by Elstead Lighting.
How long one charge lasts
The manufacturer gives three running times by brightness: about 6 hours at 100%, about 8 hours at 70% and up to 19 hours at 30%. A full charge takes 10.5 hours, so charging during the day or overnight works best. With no socket needed, it can move between the table, a windowsill and a side table by an armchair.
The circuit runs at a low 12 V, which corresponds to Class III. The manufacturer intends it for indoor use.

The 3 W LED module is permanently built in and shines at 3000 K, a warm white. With CRI 98, colours within the pool of light are rendered very faithfully. The aluminium and steel body has a glossy green lacquer, and the opaque steel shade sends the light downwards.
