Quintiesse Sutcliffe QN-SUTCLIFFE-S-AZ is a compact outdoor wall lantern. Its aluminium body, clear glass and aged-zinc/antique-nickel finish make the fixture a visible architectural detail even when it is not switched on. The Sutcliffe family combines a traditional lantern outline with an antique-nickel reflector.

Wall dimensions

The fitting is 355 mm high, 178 mm wide and projects 140 mm from the wall. Its back plate measures 127 mm wide by 228 mm high, with a 23 mm projection. Compare these measurements with the clear wall area before choosing a position near a door, terrace or balcony.

Lamp and electrical data

There is one E27 socket and no lamp is supplied. The permitted maximum lamp wattage is 60 W. The manufacturer states compatibility with dimmable lamps, so dimming also depends on the selected lamp and installation. This Class I fitting is specified for 220–240 V, 50 Hz mains power.

Choosing the lamp

The E27 socket lets the lamp be selected separately because no lamp is included. Check its wattage, dimming capability and the lamp maker’s instructions before purchase. Do not exceed the fixture’s stated 60 W limit. As the glass is clear, the selected lamp remains visible and its shape becomes part of the finished appearance.
