Gondola M 40639 – copper warmth beneath a white shade

This version of Gondola changes character according to the viewing angle. From the side, the low, sweeping shade presents a calm white exterior. From below, its textured copper-coloured inner surface becomes the main decorative feature. Once the two bulbs are illuminated, that finish forms a warm backdrop to the downward light, while the fitting still looks light rather than fully metallic when seen across the room.

A single horizontal feature for a long table

At 84 cm long and 25 cm wide, the pendant can define an elongated table or island without a row of separate fittings. The shade is 84 cm wide and 14 cm high; overall height is adjustable up to 90 cm. Two fine suspension cords support the broad body at separate points and help keep it level. Sigma can also provide longer cords to order for a taller ceiling or a lower planned drop.

Choose the output and colour temperature

Two E27 lampholders accept replaceable LED bulbs rated at no more than 15 W each. Bulbs are not supplied, leaving the user free to select their brightness, colour temperature and shape. They are partly exposed to view from below, so a matching pair gives the most balanced appearance and helps illuminate the surface evenly.
