The SLIM 24-0000-15 connector joins two sections of single-colour LED strip using a cable with a connector at each end. It is designed for strips with an 8 mm substrate width. Two wires run between the small PVC housings, rather than forming a rigid joint that places the strip ends directly beside one another.
Matching the strip and voltage
This mono version provides a two-contact connection. Check the strip's contact layout as well as its width before choosing it. It is not a multichannel connector for RGB strips. Its construction also accommodates strips with 600 LEDs over 5 m, so a densely populated strip does not automatically rule out this connector.
The rated voltage is up to 24 V. The connector does not replace a power supply or controller: its role is to link the strip sections. Each wire has a cross-sectional area of 0.35 mm².
Allowing space inside a profile
The cable is approximately 135 mm long. Each connector housing measures 11 mm wide, 20.5 mm long and 4.5 mm high. It therefore needs more space than the 8 mm strip itself. Compare these dimensions with the available internal space in the profile before installation.
The narrow SLIM construction allows strips to be joined inside aluminium profiles and the connector to be inserted from above. A snap closure holds the strip end. Choose a particular profile by its dimensions rather than assuming compatibility from a system name alone.
