SLV VALETO MALANG 1002858 white RGBW LED wall and ceiling light 34 W Ø50 cm

SLV VALETO MALANG 1002858 is a white surface-mounted LED light for either wall or ceiling installation. Its integrated RGBW system combines coloured light with tunable white from 2700 to 6500 K, while the fitting is rated at 34 W and measures 50 cm in diameter.

RGBW colour and tunable white

SLV VALETO technology combines RGB colours with white light adjustable from warm 2700 K to cool 6500 K. Control uses Zigbee and the producer also specifies Dim-to-Warm functionality. The luminaire is dimmable but requires a compatible element in the control system. Its LED module and driver are built in, so it does not take a replaceable bulb. 2450–2400 lm through a 110° beam

Depending on the light setting, SLV gives output as 2450–2400 lm and efficacy of approximately 72–71 lm/W. A broad 110° beam distributes illumination over a large area. CRI 80 describes colour rendering, while UGR no greater than 19 addresses glare under the conditions of a lighting calculation. White temperature, RGB colour and brightness can all change the appearance of the light, so the final effect depends on the selected setting and surrounding surfaces.

Surface mounting on a ceiling or wall

The round housing is made from matt white aluminium and measures 50 cm across by 12.6 cm high. Its surface-mounted construction can operate as a ceiling light or as a substantial wall fitting. Net weight is 4.534 kg, so the substrate and fixings must be suitable for this load. Before drilling, allow for the complete outline and the access needed for installation and service. Isolate the supply and complete the permanent connection according to SLV's instructions.

IP20, Class I and 30,000 hours

MALANG uses a 200–240 V, 50/60 Hz primary supply and 24 V within the secondary circuit. The fitting is electrical Class I and requires a correctly connected protective conductor. IP20 limits it to dry interiors and provides no water protection. The declared average LED life is 30,000 hours with L70B50 data, while the permitted ambient range is -20 to 40°C. The contained light source can be replaced by a specialist rather than by the user during normal maintenance.
