V-TAC 7822 is a two-part outdoor kit: a black aluminium flood head and a separate 174 × 260 mm panel. A 3 m cable lets the panel sit in the sun while the head aims at a drive or façade. The head is 190 × 55 × 170 mm with a wall bracket. Product weight is 1.42 kg. The built-in SMD LED is 6 W, 400 lm, 4000 K and 120°. VT-40W is the 40 W replacement label, not a mains wattage.

Power is solar only: 6 V input, 3.2 V / 5000 mAh replaceable battery. Charge time is 4–6 hours, run time up to 12 hours. The remote has AUTO and a timer. There is no mains dimming. IP65 covers rain and dust. Operating range is −20 °C to +60 °C. Warranty is 2 years; marks are CE, EMC and RoHS.

Outdoor use
