Sollux ARENA 25 black ceiling light E27 25 cm SL.0127  Stock Sale

The Sollux ARENA 25 (SL.0127) is a round ceiling luminaire with a black cylindrical PVC shade and a pale diffuser on the underside. Diameter is 25 cm and height is 11 cm, so after installation it sits as a shallow drum against the ceiling, with no pendant drop and no wall arm.

Size and mounting

The manufacturer's drawing marks 25 cm across and 11 cm high. Against a dining table about 75 cm wide, this circle will not stand in for a large fitting over the tabletop; compare the 25 cm with the ceiling field in a hallway, a bedroom recess or a kitchen passage. Check the 11 cm projection against the door head and the walking clearance: there is no cable drop, so in a low room the lamp does not enter head height.

Photographs show ceiling mounting with the shade tight to the soffit. It is not a wall light. The bulb and any separate driver are not in the box.

Light source

There is a single E27 cap. No lamp is included, so you choose colour temperature and output yourself within Sollux limits: maximum 60 W for a conventional source and maximum 15 W for LED. Supply is about 220–230 V at 50–60 Hz. Protection class I needs an earth conductor. IP20 covers solid objects from 12.5 mm and gives no water resistance; treat it as a dry-interior rating, not a sales line. There is no integrated LED, so colour and dimming depend only on the lamp you fit and on the installation.

Where it belongs

The producer lists living room, bedroom, kitchen and dining room. With one E27 and a 25 cm diameter the fitting gives general light, not a task beam over a worktop. The same low drum suits a corridor where a pendant would obstruct the route. IP20 rules out a wet bathroom zone and the garden. In kitchen and dining use it as room light, not as task lighting.

Form and material

A smooth black cylinder and a flat white diffuser make a simple contemporary volume without a decorative arm. The shade material is plastics; the detail on the card is PVC. Manufacturer warranty is 5 years. The Arena series on the Sollux site also has other diameters; this record is only the black 25 cm variant, EAN 5902622426266.
