STEINEL L 260 S is an outdoor wall light with a motion sensor for wall mounting. Its silver stainless-steel base is combined with an opal-glass shade. The fitting is 42.6 cm high, 17.7 cm long and 10.2 cm deep, so these measurements should be compared with the available façade space before installation.
Light and motion sensing
A user-replaceable E27 LED bulb is supplied. At 9.87 W it produces 703 lm of warm-white 3000 K light. The infrared sensor covers 240°; tangential detection reaches up to 12 m and radial detection 6 m. The twilight threshold can be set from 2 to 2000 lx, while the lighting time is adjustable from 5 seconds to 15 minutes.
Placement and installation
This model is rated IP44, protection class I and IK03 impact resistance. The manufacturer lists entrance areas, the space around a building, terraces or balconies, courtyards and driveways as applications. The recommended mounting height is 2 m and the maximum is 6 m. Mounting accessories are included. Soft light start and an optional four-hour continuous-light function can be configured on the fitting.
Key details
The luminaire operates from –20 to +50 °C and on 230–240 V / 50 Hz. The LED bulb is included, while the control gear is not replaceable. The stated LED life is 25,000 hours and its colour-rendering index is CRI 82.
