STEINEL RS PRO P3 EM is a round LED ceiling luminaire with an integrated motion sensor and emergency-light module. Variant 058609 provides warm-white 3000 K light and measures 400 mm in diameter by 142 mm high. Its white plastic housing has an opal cover, so the light source is screened by the ceiling-light construction.
Light, sensing and emergency operation
The built-in, non-replaceable LED system is rated at 18.4 W and the complete luminaire delivers 2072 lm. Its high-frequency sensor covers 360°; STEINEL specifies a reach of up to 8 m in diameter, or 50 m². Twilight response is adjustable from 2 to 2000 lx and the time setting ranges from 5 seconds to 15 minutes. A 10% basic-light function is also available.
The emergency module operates for 3 hours in accordance with EN 60598-2-22 and supplies 38 lm. This is a defining feature of this EM version rather than of every RS PRO P3 fitting.
Mounting and site checks
The luminaire is intended for ceiling mounting, while the manufacturer also lists wall installation. Maximum mounting height is 4 m. IP54 and protection class II are specified for this product. Compare the 400 mm diameter with the available mounting area and confirm a 220–240 V, 50–60 Hz supply before selecting it.
Where its design is useful
The ceiling-light form and motion sensing correspond with STEINEL’s stated use in corridors, halls and stairwells. Up to ten luminaires can be interconnected by cable. Two metal masks are included to limit the sensor’s detection direction. The integrated LED cannot be replaced, so the fitting should be planned as a complete lighting system.
