TEKKNI ARRE is an angled LED profile kit for furniture lighting, pairing black anodised aluminium with an opal M21 polycarbonate diffuser. Variant 38-0611-20 is 2.02 m long. It provides the components for an LED strip installation rather than a ready-to-use lamp with its own light source.
A 45° profile for cabinets and worktops
The ARRE cross-section positions the strip at 45°, directing light diagonally relative to the mounting surface. The manufacturer specifies kitchens and display areas, including cabinets, countertops and other work surfaces. When planning its position, compare the profile's orientation with the surface you want to illuminate. This is not a flat channel that directs light straight out at right angles to its mounting plane.
The aluminium profile itself has a 16.2 × 16.2 mm cross-section, with a 12 mm strip space shown in the manufacturer's drawing. Compare the section length with your furniture dimensions as well: the product datasheet identifies this particular version as 2.02 m, not exactly two metres. That distinction matters when planning the available run.
What the ARRE kit supplies
The pack contains one ARRE profile, one opal M21 diffuser, four ARRE end caps and four metal ARRE mounting clips. The cover and end pieces are therefore supplied with the kit rather than being basic components to order separately. An LED strip and power supply are not listed among the contents and must be chosen separately for the intended installation. The strip determines the light colour and power; the black profile does not define those lighting specifications.
Surface mounting and a restrained appearance
The manufacturer lists mounting tape, a mounting clip or a screw as installation methods. The supplied clips are metal and the end caps are plastic. Straight lines and the contrast between the black channel and pale diffuser suit modern and minimalist furniture layouts. When adding accessories, match the ARRE system and M21 diffuser designation: similar length alone does not establish compatibility with parts intended for a different profile.
