The V-TAC VT-60006CCT surface-mounted downlight panel is a round LED fixture with a 30.6 mm profile, fitted directly to the ceiling without cutting a mounting hole. The body is made of white plastic, and the CREE CHIP light source is built into the fixture.

Dimensions and mounting

The panel measures 121.2 mm across and 30.6 mm thick — a size to compare against the ceiling spot it's meant for, such as a hallway, a stairwell or above a shop counter. Mounting is surface-based: the fixture is screwed straight onto a finished ceiling, without recessing it into the structure like a built-in panel.

How much and what kind of light it gives

The panel produces a luminous flux of 630 lm at 6 W — brightness a little above a classic 40 W bulb, enough to light a small area rather than serve as the main light for a large room. The colour temperature switches directly on the fixture between 3000 K (warm white), 4000 K (neutral white) and 6500 K (cool white), without changing the light source. The colour rendering index is Ra 80+, sufficient for everyday lighting. A 120° beam angle spreads light in a wide cone rather than a narrow beam.

The LED source is built into the fixture — once its lifespan ends, the whole panel is replaced rather than just the bulb. The manufacturer states a 27-year lifespan at 3 hours of use per day and more than 15,000 on/off cycles.

The panel runs directly off the mains at 220–240 V, 50/60 Hz, with no separate power supply or transformer needed. The manufacturer intends this fixture for commercial spaces — shops and retail premises.
