The V-TAC VT-ST303 solar LED street light combines a solar panel, battery and Samsung LEDs in a single housing. The body is aluminium, finished in white, and mounts using a metal arm and bracket to a pole or directly to a wall.
How big is the fixture and how is it mounted
The fixture measures 320 x 100 x 720 mm and weighs 14 kg — a size worth comparing with the length of the pole or wall arm it will hang from. A metal arm and mounting bracket are included, so the light can be fitted either to a pole or directly to a building wall.
How much light it gives, and what kind
The Samsung LEDs produce a luminous flux of 3000 lm at 50 W power draw, which works out to 60 lm/W. The light is a cold 6000 K with a 120° beam angle, and a CRI of 80+ lets colours be told apart under the light without obvious flattening. The light source is permanently built into the fixture and cannot be replaced.
Solar power
The fixture runs entirely on solar power: the included 50 W panel, with a DC 9V output, charges the built-in LiFePO4 battery rated at 30,000 mAh. A full charge in sunlight takes 4–6 hours and provides 8–10 hours of operation, so the light needs no mains connection or separate wiring.
Where it can be installed
An IP65 rating means the housing is dust-tight and protected against water jets, so the fixture can work outdoors without extra shielding. The manufacturer intends it for lighting streets, driveways and other outdoor areas that need a strong, self-contained light source. An operating range of -20°C to +45°C allows year-round use.
