V-TAC VT-11003 recessed plaster fitting, 3 × GU10, white, 280 × 100 mm

The V-TAC VT-11003 is a white architectural-plaster fitting with three positions for GU10 lamps arranged in a straight line. Each light opening is recessed into its own part of the rectangular body. This is a fitting to build into the ceiling and finish with the surrounding surface, rather than a projecting surface-mounted ceiling light.

Allow for the cut-out, not just the body

The body measures 280 × 100 × 40 mm, whereas the required mounting opening is 285 × 105 mm. Use the opening dimensions when planning the ceiling cut-out instead of copying the body measurements. Also check the space needed for the lamps and their connections before cutting: the plaster body's height does not describe the complete installation space.

Three light positions are grouped within one rectangular element. This arrangement can be included in a lighting plan for a living room, bedroom, kitchen, dining room, office or hallway. The number of fittings and their positions need to suit the room and the chosen GU10 lamps.

A paintable finish with light selected separately

The plaster surface can be painted and visually blended with the ceiling after plaster finishing. Its simple geometry and lack of an ornamental frame suit modern and minimalist interiors. White is the initial body colour, rather than a restriction on the finished colour scheme.

The VT-11003 accommodates GU10 lamps; it is not an integrated LED light with a fixed colour temperature or luminous output. The chosen lamps determine those lighting characteristics. Installation and electrical connection must be carried out by a suitably qualified person with the supply disconnected. Disconnect the supply before cleaning as well, allow the fitting to cool and keep moisture away from electrical connections.
