Vertical 90° Corner Connector Zambelis 2083W-C1 for 48 V Trimless Magnetic Track, Sandy White

2083W-C1 is a system part, not a luminaire: a 90° corner piece for the recessed Zambelis 2083 magnetic track in its trimless form, made of aluminium with a sandy white finish. It carries the line of light around a change of plane without breaking it at the edge.

Vertical and horizontal are two different parts

The C1 suffix means the vertical corner: both arms lie in a vertical plane, so the track runs from ceiling onto wall, or around a step or downstand beam. A turn drawn flat within one ceiling takes a different part — 2083W-C2. In a photograph the two look almost identical, so it is worth confirming which plane the track has to turn in before ordering.

The manufacturer also states that correct installation of the vertical corner needs the flexible 20105 Flex Connector as well. It is not in the box and is bought separately; the horizontal version calls for the 20104 connector instead.

Which tracks it fits and how much room it takes

The corner is made for the deep trimless profiles of the 2083 range only: 2083W-1 at 1 m, 2083W-2 at 2 m and 2083W-3 at 3 m. Its cross-section is the same as the track's — 74 mm wide and 54 mm deep with a 23 mm light slot — so the recess in the ceiling runs through the corner without changing size.

The arms of the corner measure 50 mm each, and that is the figure to set out from the corner when marking the recess: no fixture can be seated along that stretch on either side of the turn.

Trimless, meaning no visible frame

The 2083 profile is sunk into the ceiling and plastered along its edges, so once the ceiling is finished only the light slot is visible, with no surround. The corner belongs to the same build-in and has to be in place before the ceiling is skimmed — after plastering, swapping it means cutting the ceiling open.

The whole system runs on 48 V extra-low voltage and needs a system driver, built in or external; the corner itself carries no supply and contains no electronics. The manufacturer gives five years of warranty on the 2083 range. The same part in a sandy black finish is 2083B-C1.
