The V-TAC VT-826 wall lamp, from the Up & Down series, is an outdoor fixture with a wedge-shaped, angled white aluminium body. Light exits through two narrow openings — at the top and bottom of the housing — and the integrated LED cannot be replaced once it wears out.
Size and mounting
The body is 20 cm tall on a 9 × 9 cm base, so it works well in pairs on either side of an entrance or terrace door. The IP65 rating allows outdoor mounting without extra cover, in a spot exposed to rain; the manufacturer also lists a bathroom application, where IP65 allows mounting near water sources, outside the direct shower zone. Mounting holes are visible on the body for fixing it directly to the wall.
How much and what kind of light it gives
The integrated LED draws 6 W and outputs 660 lm, around 110 lm per watt. The 4000K colour temperature is neutral white light — neither warm nor cool. The colour rendering index of Ra 80+ is enough for lighting a façade or entrance, where accurate colour rendering is not critical. The 120° beam angle spreads light in a wide stream simultaneously upward and downward along the wall.
Power and durability
The lamp runs on 220–240 V at 50/60 Hz. The manufacturer states 15,000 on/off cycles and a lifespan of around 27 years at 3 hours of use a day. The energy efficiency class is F. Compliance is confirmed by CE, EMC and RoHS certificates, and the manufacturer gives the fixture a 2-year warranty.
