Compact bedside wall light for focused reading

V-TAC VT-402 is a white aluminium wall light with a slim cylindrical head, designed to provide a dedicated point of light beside a bed. It suits bedrooms, hotel rooms, guest accommodation and small relaxation areas where a separate light is useful without switching on the room’s main fitting. A switch is built directly into the rectangular wall plate, keeping everyday control within easy reach and avoiding the need to find a separate controller. The installed gallery image shows the product’s scale and a typical position beside a headboard.

Warm, concentrated LED illumination

The integrated SMD LED module uses 2W and produces 150 lm of warm white light at 3000K. Its 38° beam concentrates illumination on a book, bedside table, picture or selected section of wall rather than attempting to replace general room lighting. Colour rendering is rated at CRI 80 and declared efficacy is 75 lm/W. The light source is not dimmable. V-TAC states a 20,000-hour lifetime and more than 15,000 switching cycles. The integrated source is published in the official EPREL register under number 1564753 with energy efficiency class F.

Dimensions and safe fixed installation

The official overall dimension set is 145 × 150 × 60 mm and product weight is 0.28 kg. Its white aluminium housing has an IP20 rating, so the fitting is intended for dry indoor locations and should not be exposed to moisture or flooding. It operates from AC 220–240 V at 50 Hz and requires a fixed electrical connection. Isolate the supply before installation, choose a stable mounting surface and have the wiring completed by a suitably qualified person. The model carries CE, EMC and RoHS certifications and is covered by a two-year warranty. When choosing the mounting position, consider both the directional beam and the location of the built-in switch so the light remains comfortable to operate from the bed.
