White Nordlux CODY 2112001001 GU10 15 W wall light with shelf and USB

Nordlux CODY 2112001001 is a white bedside wall light combining an adjustable GU10 spotlight, a small shelf and a USB charging port. The metal structure is approximately 43 cm high, 20 cm wide and projects 20 cm. A 150 cm cable and switch on the fitting allow direct control beside the bed.

Shelf and USB charging port

The semicircular shelf can hold a phone, glasses or small evening essentials. A USB port underneath charges a phone or another device, and Nordlux states that a USB cable is included. Plan mounting height so the shelf remains easy to reach, the charging lead does not cross a walkway and the head cannot shine directly into the eyes of someone lying down. Metal and polycarbonate form the white RAL 9016 version designed by the Danish studio Says Who.

Adjustable GU10 spotlight

The cylindrical head is 6 cm in diameter, tilts by about 90 degrees and rotates to direct light onto a book or wall. The fitting accepts one replaceable GU10 lamp up to 15 W, which is not supplied. Brightness, colour temperature, CRI and beam angle depend on the selected source. CODY is not intended for dimming; use its on-fitting switch and do not exceed the manufacturer's lamp power, even if a physically compatible higher-powered bulb fits the holder.

A 150 cm cable and compact footprint

The white 150 cm cable is not user-replaceable. Plan its route and socket access before drilling, especially when CODY replaces a bedside table lamp. The body is 20 cm wide, 20 cm long and projects 20 cm; net weight is 1.45 kg. Current Nordlux data rounds height to approximately 42–43 cm. Leave space for the head to turn and for a phone on the shelf without touching bedding, curtains or another heat-sensitive object.

Class II, IP20 and installation

CODY operates on 230 V as electrical Class II equipment with double insulation. IP20 provides no water protection, restricting use to a dry interior. Unplug or isolate the fitting and allow the bulb to cool before cleaning. Select wall fixings for the substrate, check for hidden cables and level the shelf carefully. A qualified installer should complete any fixed mounting according to Nordlux instructions, keeping the cable unpinched and testing the switch, USB port and directional head before normal use.
