Naica C0525-05A-V6B5 is a crystal flush ceiling light from Zuma Line, 46 cm in diameter. The steel ring has a matt gold finish broken by narrow silver bands, and below it tiers of clear, elongated crystals fall in a cascade, scattering the light of the bulbs into small reflections around the fitting.
Dimensions and mounting
The light measures 46 cm across and 27 cm high. It mounts directly to the ceiling with no drop, so compare that height with your own room height — that is how much headroom it takes. It weighs 8.2 kg, which decides the fixing: wall plugs and screws have to be chosen to suit the ceiling, because the assembly instructions state they are not included.
The crystals are hung during installation. The instructions call for 106 pieces to be hung on metal hooks, each hook bent closed afterwards, so allow more time for assembly than for an ordinary ceiling light. The protective foil has to be removed before the bulbs go in. The box measures 53.5 × 53.5 × 22.5 cm.
Light sources
The fitting has five E14 (small screw) lampholders, each rated up to 40 W. Bulbs are not included, so you choose the colour temperature and brightness yourself — the manufacturer allows both conventional bulbs and E14 LED bulbs. With five conventional bulbs the total load can reach 200 W; LED bulbs give similar brightness at a fraction of the consumption.
The light runs on 230 V from a standard lighting circuit. The clear crystals do not block the light but refract and reflect it — hence the reflections around the fitting when it is switched on.
Which rooms it suits
The glamour and classic character lies in the details: the gold ring with its bright bands and the multi-tier crystal cascade. The manufacturer intends it for living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, studies or offices, and hallways. Because it sits flush against the ceiling, it also works in rooms with lower ceilings, where a chandelier on a chain would hang too low.
