Aldex Holm 10 Black pendant lamp 10×E14 1082M1

Holm 10 Black 1082M1 is an Aldex pendant chandelier with ten milky-white, matt spherical shades on a black metal frame. The arms leave the hub at different angles, so the fitting is a cluster of 14 cm globes rather than a flat ring. The BLACK variant keeps the structure black and the glass white; the ten E14 holders are empty.

140 cm span and position above a table

Aldex states a height of 95 cm and a maximum width and depth of 140 cm. Arm angles are set by hand, The technical drawing shows an example of 123 cm with 14 cm shades, a 10 cm canopy, a 44 cm vertical section and a 52 cm arm cluster. 140 cm is the upper figure with the arms fully spread.

Above a table, compare the span with the top. At a full 140 cm the table should be larger, for example about 180–200 cm, On a 140–160 cm table, bring the arms inward. Measure the 95 cm from the ceiling to the lowest shades. Above a 75 cm tabletop, 70–80 cm of clearance is a common check, which needs a taller ceiling or a lower hang. This scale suits a larger living room, dining room or study, not a low hallway.

Ten E14 holders and ceiling mounting

Each arm ends in an E14 holder. The instruction sheet shows lamps next to a drill and screwdriver as items needed to put the fitting into service, not as box contents. Choose E14 lamps that fit a 14 cm shade; then seat the globe on the holder. Ten points light from several directions, and the matt glass spreads the light.

Mounting is on the ceiling: isolate the circuit, fix the bracket with two screws, then connect L, N and PE. Electrical work should be done by a qualified person. A black ceiling rose, the vertical drop and the hub with arms remain visible.

Living room, dining room and study

The manufacturer names the living room, dining room and study. Over a table the top and faces around it are lit if the span does not exceed the table. In a living room the fitting can hang centrally as the main light for a larger seating zone. In a study it is more useful over a meeting table or in the middle of a larger room than immediately above a writing desk. The same scale works in a hotel lobby or a restaurant room that needs many points. It is an indoor pendant, not a bathroom or outdoor luminaire.

Black frame and milky globes

The form is spare: thin black arms and smooth globes, without ornament. It sits closer to contemporary minimalism and branched chandeliers than to a classic bowl shade. The black structure stays readable against the white glass when the lamps are off. When they are on, the shades give a milky surface without a visible filament. Clean glass and metal with a dry or slightly damp cloth, without abrasives. To change a lamp, remove the globe; do not pull on the arm.
