Aldex Holm L 1082D1_L is a two-light wall fitting with milky-white glass spheres carried on black arms. Both the metal frame and glass shades have matte finishes. Unequal arms emerge from a round wall plate, placing the two globes in an asymmetric arrangement rather than a straight, evenly spaced row.
Allow for its projection, not just its width
The L version measures 72 cm wide, 42 cm high and 50 cm deep. A clear patch of wall is therefore only part of the installation space it needs. Check how far the fitting will extend into the room, especially above a headboard, beside a mirror or close to a walkway. Compare its complete outline with nearby furniture and the opening arc of any adjacent door.
Each globe is 14 cm in diameter. Their staggered positions and unequal supporting arms are central to the design: this is not a compact lamp that hugs the wall. Use article code 1082D1_L when selecting this larger version, as the smaller Holm wall fitting has a different designation.
Two replaceable E14 LED lamps
There are two E14 sockets, each specified for an LED bulb rated at no more than 10 W. The manufacturer recommends narrow bulbs with a maximum height of 10.2 cm. Matching the cap alone is not enough; a larger bulb may still be unsuitable for the space inside the shade.
The bulbs you choose determine the light colour and brightness. Holm L does not have an integrated LED module with one fixed colour temperature. The milky glass covers the light sources. Its manual shows wall mounting and connection to the electrical installation, rather than use as a portable plug-in lamp.
Asymmetric wall lighting for bedrooms and living spaces
The manufacturer identifies placement above bed headboards and beside mirrors. In a living or dining room, it can serve as supplementary wall lighting. Matte black, white spheres and slender arms suit modern, modernist and minimalist interiors. Choose a position that leaves enough room for the broad, projecting form rather than treating it as a small bedside fitting.
