Aldex Garda White 1099C wall light, white metal and glass

Aldex Garda White 1099C pairs a straight white metal bar with one spherical glass shade. The contrast between the line and the globe defines this wall light, rather than decorative arms or several separate shades. The globe measures 14 cm in diameter, while the complete fitting is 36 cm wide.

Choose the direction of the bar

Aldex permits both horizontal and vertical mounting. This lets you choose the orientation to suit the arrangement of the wall, rather than being limited to the horizontal position in the photograph. A horizontal bar emphasises the width of the composition; turning it vertically changes the relationship between the straight line and the sphere. Either position retains the same single light point.

In the position used for the published dimensions, the fitting is 14 cm high and 16 cm deep. Depth matters when checking the space in front of the wall, particularly near a passage or a door that opens towards the fitting. Comparing only the bar's length would overlook the projection of the glass globe.

A single E14 light source

Garda White has one E14 fitting. When choosing a bulb, match this cap and check the space inside the shade together with the fixture's own markings. Brightness and light colour are separate choices made through the selected light source. The warm appearance in the manufacturer's photograph does not establish a fixed colour temperature for the fitting.

The manufacturer describes this wall light as supplementary lighting for living rooms, dining rooms and halls. It can add a light point on the wall alongside the room's main lighting. One socket alone does not demonstrate that it can replace an entire room's lighting scheme.

White metal with a glass globe

The restrained geometry supports modern, modernist and minimalist interiors. Metal forms the straight bar, while glass gives the shade its rounded silhouette. White identifies this colour variant. When combining it with other Garda fittings, compare their individual dimensions and shade counts: a shared collection name does not mean that every fitting has the same size or arrangement.
