ARGON PALOMA 8510 is a compact fitting with a spherical ribbed shade in smoked glass and metal parts finished in brushed brass. It can be mounted on a wall as a sconce or on the ceiling as a single-light flush fitting.
Smoked glass globe with a 12 cm diameter
The shade is a smoked glass sphere with vertical ribbing that remains visible with the lamp switched off or illuminated. Images show the warm brass-toned canopy, round plate and slim lampholder cover inside the glass. Overall dimensions are 17 cm high, 12 cm wide and 12 cm deep. Use one decorative point or repeat the globe in an ordered composition. The glass surface changes in appearance with ambient reflections and the selected bulb.
One replaceable E14 lamp up to 7 W
PALOMA 8510 takes one replaceable E14 lamp with a maximum power of 7 W on a 230 V supply. No light source is included. The bulb remains visible through the smoked shade, so its form contributes to the fitting's appearance even when switched off. Colour temperature, brightness and dimming capability are determined by the selected lamp and compatible installation controls. Observe the maximum source dimensions shown in the producer's instructions: approximately 45 mm in diameter and 80 mm in height, as a larger bulb may not fit safely inside the globe.
Wall or ceiling installation
The producer explicitly approves this model for use as a wall light or a compact ceiling fitting. Gallery images show both orientations, and the technical drawing confirms a 10 cm diameter canopy. Net weight is 0.6 kg. During installation, remove and support the glass, secure the mounting strip to a stable substrate, connect the conductors and refit the globe with its retaining springs as instructed. Orientation changes the position of the shade but does not alter the electrical rating or permitted lamp power.
IP20 and Protection Class I
IP20 restricts use to dry interiors without exposure to water or persistent high humidity. An official lifestyle image shows a bathroom, but it does not establish a permitted electrical zone; local regulations and the installation design remain decisive. The instruction identifies Protection Class I and a PE terminal, so a correct protective-earth connection is required. Work must be carried out with the supply isolated by a suitably qualified person. Support the glass throughout assembly and clean it only with a soft cloth after the lamp has cooled.
