ZAKYNTOS 3547 is a wall light on a two-section articulated arm in chrome-plated steel, finished with a black mesh-weave shade shaped as a truncated cone. The round wall plate measures 14 cm across and 2 cm deep. Two joints let you fold the arm back against the wall or swing the shade out to the side.
How far it reaches and how much room it needs
The arm sections measure 31 and 27 cm, so the shade can be taken up to 75 cm away from the wall; folded back, the fitting projects far less. At its highest setting the light stands 50 cm tall, and the 30 cm width is set by the shade itself.
The shade is 30 cm across at the bottom, 25 cm at the top and 25 cm deep. Compare both figures — 75 cm of reach and a 30 cm shade — with the depth of the furniture the light is meant to cover and with the clear wall width beside it.
Which bulb to buy
The lampholder takes one E27 source and the manufacturer allows a maximum of 15 W — that is the limit for the bulb, not the fitting's own consumption. No bulb is supplied, and the installation sheet permits LED only; filament and halogen are crossed out on the pictogram.
The sheet also gives the maximum envelope: 50 mm in diameter and 105 mm in length. A standard A60 pear measures 60 mm across and will not fit under the shade, so buy the bulb on its dimensions rather than on wattage alone. The shade is open at the bottom, so the light falls mainly on the surface below the fitting.
Mounting and construction
The wall plate screws to the wall at two points, into plugs. The fitting is protection class I, so it needs an earth connection — the wall box must carry a PE conductor. Supply is 230 V and mounting is for interiors only.
The manufacturer allows for an optional switch on the wall plate, so the light can be operated at the fitting rather than from a separate switch in the circuit. Arm, joints and wall plate are chrome-plated steel and the shade is black mesh fabric; the light weighs 1.4 kg.
