BALAM is a small pendant in coloured glass. The 16 cm dome shade fades from turquoise at the top to clear at the rim, and above it two glass spheres — one pink, one green — are threaded onto the black cord. The canopy and fittings are finished in gold.
A colour the spec sheet does not show
The manufacturer files this lamp under "gold", which refers only to the metal parts. In practice it is very much a coloured lamp: a turquoise shade with pink and green accents. Worth knowing before ordering if you are looking for something restrained.
The light
The fitting takes a single E14 bulb of up to 5 W — deliberately modest, as decorative pendants tend to be. BALAM gives an atmospheric point of light rather than working illumination, so it suits a spot above a counter, a group of several over a kitchen island, or an accent in a seating corner. No bulb is supplied; fit a dimmable one and the level can be adjusted.

Installation
