Pendant lamp Luces Exclusivas BALAM LE43401 gold with coloured glass 5xE14 51.7 cm

Luces Exclusivas BALAM LE43401 is a five-point pendant with a round gold canopy and five glass shades at different drop lengths. The shades do not share one silhouette: bell forms with pink, amber and blue gradients sit beside slimmer cylinders and glass spheres in lime, rose and grey-blue stacked on the stem. Black cables drop from the metal disc; gold sleeves join the glass to each E14 holder.

The official card lists a 51.7 cm composition diameter and 120 cm height. The canopy is 40 cm across and 3 cm thick, so it occupies less ceiling than the glass cluster. Individual drops measure 30 cm, 30.4 cm, 31.4 cm and 43.9 cm, which is why the longest shade finishes lower than the others — the first thing you notice from the table.

Clearance over a tabletop

51.7 cm is roughly two place settings. Over a dining table about 140–180 cm long the cluster covers the centre of the top and should not cut sharply past its edge. Subtract 120 cm from the room height and compare the remainder with a 75 cm table: the gap depends on where the longest shade ends. In a living room compare 51.7 cm with the coffee-table diameter so the glass does not sit in the walkway.

The card lists IP20. It is not a bathroom or outdoor luminaire. Open coloured glass is decorative light for a dining room or living room, not task light for a kitchen worktop.

Lamps you still have to buy

Each of the five points takes an E14 lamp. The manufacturer states a 5 W maximum per source and 230 V. Lamps are not in the box — filament bulbs in the photographs only show how the glass looks once a decorative lamp is fitted. At 5 W the practical choice is a small E14 LED; a higher-wattage incandescent exceeds the card. Colour and brightness come only from the lamps you buy.

Metal, glass and the five-light code

The card lists the material as metal: gold canopy, sleeves and stems. The official product photograph also shows clear and tinted glass in the shades and spheres. The glass is graduated — the top of a bell is often stronger, the bottom almost colourless — so the light does not leave as a flat patch. The spheres do not emit light; they sit on the stem above the lamp. Wipe smooth glass and metal with a dry cloth.

The BALAM series also includes single pendants under other symbols. LE43401 is the five-point version with a 51.7 cm diameter, not a lone 10.8 cm or 15.7 cm shade.
