BAZAR BIZAR Casita S hanging lampshade in mendong grass, natural 40 × 65 cm

BAZAR BIZAR Casita S is a hanging lampshade made from natural mendong grass, not a complete light fitting. Its rounded, open woven body ends in a broad band of loose fringe. Pale fibres, visible bindings and an uneven lower edge give it a boho character while leaving gaps between the strands.

Choose the electrical fitting separately

Electrical components, a cable and a bulb are not included. The manufacturer specifies a standard E27 fitting in a suitable ceiling suspension or plug-in system. Allow for the suspension and light source when placing your order: the shade alone is not a ready-to-connect luminaire.

The open weave leaves the light source visible between the fibres. The resulting brightness and light colour depend on the bulb you choose. The shade itself does not determine those values, so the light source affects both the appearance and the function of the finished fitting.

Size S and hanging space

The manufacturer's dimensions are 40 cm long, 40 cm wide and 65 cm high. The height describes the shade, not the total drop with a separately chosen cable. Compare it with the available space and intended hanging level before installation.

The manufacturer suggests a small dining area, hallway, reading corner or a position above a bedside table. The woven surface and fringe remain visible when the light is off. In a reading corner, however, suitability for reading depends on the complete lighting assembly rather than the shade alone.

Natural fibres indoors

Handmaking and natural materials can produce differences in tone, fibre direction, weave density and fringe length. Remove dust gently with a soft cloth or brush. Avoid excess moisture, harsh cleaners, direct heat and prolonged sunlight. Casita S is for indoor use only; outdoor styling photographs do not establish weather resistance.
