BAZAR BIZAR Raffia is a bar stool with a round woven seat supported by four wooden legs. Natural-coloured raffia sits above a light teak frame. A spiral weave across the top gives the seat a distinct surface pattern rather than the smooth finish of fabric upholstery.
A 75 cm seat for a high counter
The manufacturer specifies both the overall height and the seating height as 75 cm, with a length and width of 35 cm each. This is a tall stool to pair with a bar-height surface, not a low seat for a conventional dining table. Compare the seat height with your own counter and its underside before choosing it, allowing room for your legs below the top.
There is no backrest or armrest. Wooden crossbars between the legs provide a footrest. When planning several seats side by side, allow for sitting down and pulling the stool away from the counter as well as its listed footprint. Indoor placement and care
This stool is for indoor use only; covered outdoor areas are not an exception. The manufacturer's outdoor photographs are styling images, not evidence of outdoor suitability. Dust with a soft cloth or brush. If necessary, clean the wood with a damp cloth and mild soap, then dry thoroughly. Avoid soaking the raffia and let it dry completely after a light wipe. The manufacturer also recommends regular oiling or sealing of the teak and storage in a dry indoor space.
