Shibori by BAZAR BIZAR is a reclaimed teak bar stool with a round seat and four legs that spread towards the floor. Its natural colour leaves the grain, knots and surface irregularities visible. There is no backrest, armrest or upholstery; horizontal rails connect the legs below the seat.
A 70 cm seat for a higher counter
The seat height is 70 cm and the overall dimensions are 39 × 39 × 70 cm. This is seating for a higher counter rather than a replacement for a chair at a standard dining table. When choosing it for a kitchen island or home bar, compare the seat height with the underside of the counter and allow space for your legs.
The backless shape can slide beneath a counter where its height and supports permit. Also check the clear width between the counter legs or island sides: the spreading base needs room for the stool's full footprint, not just its seat. If arranging several stools, leave space between the seating positions and a passage behind them.
Exposed reclaimed teak
The manufacturer specifies reclaimed teak and handmade production in Indonesia. Grain patterns, colour and small irregularities can vary between pieces, so the photographs do not promise an identical wood pattern on every seat. The simple construction and exposed texture give it a rustic character, particularly alongside natural materials at a kitchen or dining-area counter.
Indoor placement and care
Shibori is intended for indoor use only. The manufacturer rules out outdoor use even in covered areas, and such use is not covered by warranty. Remove dust with a soft cloth or brush. To retain the appearance of the wood, the manufacturer recommends wood oil or a wood finish. Styled photographs should not be read as evidence of resistance to moisture or weather.
