DROPS WOOD B is a pendant whose whole effect is built from flat shapes: below a black cable hangs a plywood half-circle, beneath it a full circle with a black disc at its centre, and lowest of all a sphere of white opal glass. The assembly is 35 cm tall and 16 cm wide, with a drop reaching 216.5 cm.

Plywood graphics, not a shade

This is not a fitting with a shade — only the glass sphere at the bottom lights up, and the wooden elements above it are pure form. The primary material is plywood in natural wood, complemented by lacquered steel in white and black (lacquer P013 RAL 9005). The result reads differently near and far: from across the room it works as a graphic mark, close up you see the grain and the laminated edges.

The G9 bulb — two figures to check

The holder is G9 and the maximum source rating is 12 W, LED only (a halogen of similar brightness would heat the wood). Nowodvorski adds two conditions that are easy to miss: the bulb diameter must not exceed 19.5 mm, because a larger one will not fit inside the sphere, and a diffused source is recommended — through opal glass a point-like LED filament shows as a brighter patch. No bulb is included.

Mounting and adjusting the drop

The lamp mounts directly to the ceiling on a 7.5 × 5.5 cm canopy; the mounting kit (plugs and screws) is not included and should be matched to the ceiling. The manufacturer states that shortening the drop should be done by a qualified electrician — the cable is part of the circuit, not an adjustment cord. Protection class I requires an earth conductor, and IP20 keeps the fitting in dry interiors.
