The EDESA LED M 9107 is an outdoor ceiling light shaped as a plain cylinder: 9 cm across, 11 cm tall, aluminium lacquered in matt black. A glass lens sits in a sealed ring at the bottom, and the body carries no ornament at all.
How it lights
The built-in LED module draws 7 W and gives 530 lm at 3000 K, a warm white close to incandescent light. The beam is only 19 degrees, so this is not general lighting β the pool of light is about a third of the distance to the fitting across, and everything beside it stays dark.
That distribution suits picking out one place: a stretch of wall, a doorway, a step or a table under a canopy. Colour rendering is at least 80. The diodes cannot be replaced, being built in permanently, and the maker quotes a service life of 10 000 hours β after which the whole fitting is changed. The energy class is G.
Where it mounts
The maker specifies the fitting for outdoor use and rates it IP54: working dust protection and resistance to splashing water from any direction. It fixes straight onto the surface with no cut-out, which suits a roof soffit, a porch or gazebo ceiling, and a wall.
The mounting kit is in the box together with the fitting and the instructions. It is built to protection class I, so an earth conductor has to reach the mounting point. Supply is 220-230 V, 50/60 Hz. Net weight is 0,63 kg.
Finish and collection
The body is lacquered aluminium and the cover is glass. The black is matt and covers the whole cylinder, including the ring around the lens.
EDESA LED is a family of fittings sharing one shape: the same M model also comes in white under number 9108, and the smaller S version at 3 W carries number 9111. This one is the black 7 W variant.
