Endon Bibury 111523 is a table-lamp base made from turned wood with a satin Marlin Blue painted finish. Its switched brass B22 lampholder and grey braided cable are part of the base; neither a shade nor a light source is supplied.
A base for a chosen shade
Endon specifies Bibury for use with a decorative 16 cm or 20 cm shade. Compare the shade diameter with the available tabletop space before choosing it, then select its material and colour separately. This leaves the final silhouette and finish of the completed table lamp open to the chosen shade.
Dimensions and connection
The base is 27.2 cm high and 10.5 cm in diameter. Its 1.5 m braided cable ends in a plug. Fit a compatible B22 LED lamp of up to 7 W; the lamp must be purchased separately. The switch is located at the lampholder, so it should remain accessible after the shade is fitted.
Material and character
The turned timber profile, satin blue paint and brass detail give the base a classic table-lamp expression. It can be considered for a bedside table, side table or chest where there is also room for the separately selected shade. Endon lists a weight of 0.5 kg and a two-year warranty.
