Gea Luce GLSAD2 10-Port USB Charging Station for Cordless Table Lamps

GLSAD2 is a charging station, not a lamp: a white, elongated housing with ten USB-A sockets in two rows, powered from a 220–240 V outlet. Its output is 5 V DC, the voltage Gea Luce's rechargeable table lamps need.

What it is for

Lamps from the BRILLIA series (GLS050–GLS055) and the GLS030–GLS032 models run 10–14 hours on one charge, so in a restaurant or hotel they go back to the store room every day after closing. GLSAD2 puts ten of them on a single wall socket instead of hunting for ten free outlets and ten separate GLSAD1 adapters.

What the box does not hold

The manufacturer supplies no USB cables — the ones that came with the lamps are used. Gea Luce lamps charge over USB-C, so each cable needs that connector at the lamp end and USB-A at the station end.

Where it can stand

IP20 protection means no defence against water or dust, so the station belongs indoors only — in a back room, a store cupboard or a bar unit, not on the terrace where the lamps themselves stand. It weighs 230 g and its housing fits on a shelf beside other equipment.
