The Gea Luce BRILLIA GLS053 is a cordless table lamp 38 cm tall, with a die-cast aluminium body and a pleated polycarbonate shade in red. It emits light in two directions — up and down — and the switch is a touch pad on top of the shade.
How long one charge lasts and what the box does not hold
An 18650 lithium-ion battery of 4400 mAh sits in the base. The manufacturer states 10–14 hours of light, enough for the lamp to last a full evening on the table and go back on charge only after closing time. It charges through a USB-C socket.
The box holds a 150 cm USB cable, but no mains adapter — that has to be bought separately. Gea Luce offers two accessories for it: GLSAD1 is a single USB plug, and GLSAD2 is a ten-port station that charges ten lamps at once from one wall socket.
The light it gives
The integrated 3 W LED module delivers 200 lm at 3000 K — a warm white close to the light of a traditional bulb. That output will not light a room, but it is enough to mark out a table and make a menu readable. The light source cannot be replaced; the manufacturer rates it at 30,000 hours.
A colour rendering index above 80 keeps the colours of food and fabrics looking natural. The 100° beam spreads widely up and down, so the shade glows from within while the second half of the light falls on the tabletop. Brightness is adjusted by holding the touch pad down for a few seconds.
Where it can stand
The lamp is 38 cm tall with a 11.3 cm base, so it takes up less room on the table than a plate and does not block the person opposite. IP54 protection means it resists dust and splashing water from any direction — the lamp can stay on a terrace or balcony even in driving rain.
The manufacturer intends it for restaurants and hotels, for terraces and balconies, and for dining rooms, living rooms and bedrooms. With no power cable, it moves from a garden table to a windowsill indoors within a single evening.
