Endon 97114 is a dimmable SMD LED bulb with a GU10 base, rather than a lamp holder or a complete light fitting. Its white body surrounds a clear optical face. This particular version combines a 4000 K colour temperature with a 60° beam angle.
Comparing the light, not just the base
The 585 lm light output indicates the quantity of light emitted, while the 7 W rating describes power consumption. Endon compares this version with a 75 W halogen bulb. When choosing a replacement, compare colour temperature and beam angle as well as the base: a matching connection does not necessarily produce the same lighting effect.
A 60° beam directs light towards a defined area rather than spreading it in every direction. The 4000 K specification distinguishes this bulb from warm-white GU10 alternatives. The fitting used with it also affects the final distribution of light.
Enclosed fittings and dimming
Check the 50 mm diameter and 54 mm height against the space available inside the fitting, particularly in an enclosed head. Endon identifies enclosed outdoor and bathroom fittings, as well as fire-rated recessed fittings, as suitable uses. This does not make the bare bulb independently waterproof; the appropriate fitting determines the installation conditions.
The bulb is dimmable, but compatibility with the intended control needs to be checked separately. The declared lifetime is 25,000 hours and the warranty is two years. Its energy label gives a class F rating and consumption of 7 kWh per 1000 hours.
