Endon 93028 is an E27 LED filament bulb with amber-tinted glass and the familiar pear-shaped GLS outline. The visible LED filaments echo the appearance of a traditional incandescent bulb. This is a light source on its own, not a complete light fitting or a pendant set with a cable.
Amber glass, warm-white light
The glass keeps its amber tint when the bulb is switched off. For a fitting that leaves the bulb exposed, consider its daytime appearance as well as its light output: the shape of the glass and the arrangement of the filaments remain part of the installation. The manufacturer's photographs show this exact variant both lit and unlit, allowing those two appearances to be compared.
The specified colour temperature is 2500 K, with a light output of 540 lumens at 6 W. This is distinctly warm-white light. When replacing an existing bulb, compare its lumen rating with 540 lumens rather than judging brightness from wattage alone. Power consumption and light output are different measures. A shade or other parts of the fitting can also affect how much of the bulb's light reaches the surrounding space.
Check the space around the socket
The overall height is 10.5 cm and the diameter is 6 cm. Compare both measurements with the space inside the shade and its opening before ordering; a matching socket does not guarantee that the glass envelope will fit. The E27 screw cap requires an E27 lampholder. A similar-looking bulb with a different cap is not interchangeable. Endon specifies a supply voltage of 220–240 V for this version.
Dimming and decorative fittings
This bulb is dimmable, but the intended dimmer must be checked for compatibility with this LED light source. Dimmability is not a promise that every control system will work. The traditional outline and tinted glass suit decorative retro or vintage fittings when their electrical requirements and available space match the bulb.
