Halden 5096GR is a half-dome outdoor wall light cast in aluminium and powder-coated in graphite (RAL 7016). It is closed underneath by a clear, textured polycarbonate diffuser stabilised against UV. The light is diffuse and directed downward, onto the wall, a fence pillar or the ground below the fitting.
Size and installation
The fitting is 31 cm wide and 15 cm tall, and projects 15.5 cm from the wall. It mounts on an intermediate plate with two 7 × 10 mm adjustment slots spaced 100 mm apart — the elongated slots let you level the light after drilling. It weighs 1.64 kg and is protection class I, so the supply cable needs an earth conductor.
The terminals take up to 5 × 2.5 mm², and the supply can be looped on to the next fitting with up to 5 × 1.5 mm², so several lights on one wall or on gate pillars run from a single line. The manufacturer allows 46 units per circuit breaker on B 10 A, 74 on B 16 A or C 10 A, and 119 on C 16 A.
Light and control
The built-in Philips LED module delivers 662 lm from the fitting at 8.4 W. A colour temperature of 3000 K is warm white — less yellow than a traditional bulb, yet still welcoming at an entrance. The DALI2 driver allows dimming and connection to a building control system; a standard phase dimmer will not work with it.
The LED module and driver are replaced by a professional service — the manufacturer offers kit ZS5096zx0010 for this. The module keeps 90% of its output for more than 38,000 h, and the driver is rated for 100,000 h.
Where it fits
IP65 means a dust-tight housing protected against water jets, and IK10 means the highest impact rating on that scale, 20 J. That matters when the light is mounted low on a fence pillar or beside a walkway. It suits a facade, a fence or a balcony, as well as hotel or restaurant grounds.
