Italux Morte Gold LED Pendant Light, 60 cm, Switchable Light Colour

Italux Morte PND-34535-L-GD is a gold pendant light with a single horizontal ring and a transparent acrylic shade. The smooth metal band contrasts with the small geometric elements along the lower edge of the shade. Italux specifies a metal alloy, aluminium and acrylic for the construction; the decorative elements are not crystal glass.

A 60 cm ring with a full pendant drop

The ring measures 60 cm in diameter and 7.5 cm in height, while the manufacturer's stated overall height is 120 cm. The shallow profile of the light-bearing section does not make this a flush ceiling fitting. Before choosing a position, compare the full drop with the ceiling height and the location of a tabletop or walkway below it.

This is the single-ring version, rather than one of the multi-level designs in the same collection. Its circular outline can be centred over a table, while the space inside the ring remains visibly open. Both the width and the entire suspension need to be considered when planning its placement.

Three light colours, without dimming

The LED light source is included. Italux states a power rating of 45 W, a luminous flux of 4300 lm and three colour temperatures: 3000 K, 4000 K and 6000 K. Light colour is changed using the wall switch, allowing a choice of warm, neutral or cool white without replacing a bulb.

Changing colour temperature is not the same as adjusting brightness. This version is not dimmable, an important distinction when selecting a fitting for an existing installation with a dimmer.

Modern geometry with an ornamental edge

The simple ring and slender suspension lines support modern interiors. The gold finish and regularly patterned transparent shade also provide a glamour accent. The manufacturer's listed applications include living rooms, bedrooms, studies, dining rooms, halls, kitchens and children's rooms. Choose the actual position with the pendant height in mind, rather than relying on its decorative appearance alone.
